Love’s Equilibrium: 1 year later

“The truth is, the notion that gay marriage is harmful to marriage, is sort of mind-boggling, because these are people trying to get married. But it seems to me, if you want to defend marriage against something, defend it against divorce.”
― Cokie Roberts

In regards, to disregarding me

to pay the devil’s dues.

That ideals…are nothing new.

There are several scenarios to this histories sad story.

Hidden pamphlets held in dresser drawers.

Flags of faded glory at the neighbor’s door.

Closed groups

closed conversation

closed minds

all moving in mysterious ways.

Yet, when questioned, we have nothing to say.

From birth we seek only to exist.

Our hands and our eyes wide open.

There is no need for fear of risk.

As days turn to years,

smiles to tears.

One large lanky crowd,

just putting one foot in front of the other.

Queer, it seems, we are all in the same search…

the search for the perfect lover.
