Even the best fall down.

Even the rest stumble to the ground.

Heard an old timer say.

There is no shame in this…a thicket of mongrel trees.

No argument amidst the crisp spring air.

Nothing but being…

Being just how it should be.

Within this the prodigal burg…

nothing to spectacular nor absurd.

Just a handful of roughed over scars.

Held over from not being heard.

A cup of human-kindness among the hearty few.
