Dust of Snow

Dust of Snow – Robert Frost

The way a crow

Shook down on me

The dust of snow

From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart

A change of mood

And saved some part

Of a day I had rued.

Yearly conversation between the devil and New Hampshire in the wintertime…

New Hampshire…tried to sell my soul between yesterday and twilight…

“Unfortunately, you aren’t what we’re looking for…not quite right.  The winter mittens?  A bit too tight!”

the Devil.
