a Naive Epitaph

Sky, so threatening with

Withered tales of naive summer.

Daylight clings to a drought of hope.

Innocence has lost its footing.

Once fertile fields, a now forlorn-ed scorn.

Seems the ages have squandered away…

with the springtime of life.

Possibility cut down with barren blades of a knife.

A challenge to those who dare not.

Provoking what has begun

what will become.

A wide-eyed epitaph, indeed.

To not heed fair warning of obsolete weed.chances-1chance-2
